So you’re interested in getting married in Charleston, SC, recently voted 2016 Best City in the World by Travel + Leisure Magazine. That’s fantastic!!! We would love to make this happen for you. We have put together an intimate, elegant, and inexpensive wedding package specifically for you.
Weddings cost thousands of dollars. Save your money. Instead, allow Kasey and his team to make your wedding day perfect.
We can take care of (almost) everything for you. We will arrange the hotel accommodations, the wedding venue, the wedding cake, the photographer, the officiant, and create a wonderful ceremony for the two of you.
Here’s the really important information you’ll need to know to plan your dates accordingly
You will need your marriage license to get married. If you live close to the South Carolina border, you can go to any S.C. courthouse, apply for your marriage license, and bring your marriage license with you to Charleston. If you do not live near South Carolina, then you will need to apply for your marriage license once you get to Charleston. There is a 24 hour waiting period after the application is made before the license can be picked up and the parties can be married. Please note that if you want to get married on a Saturday or Sunday, then you must apply for your marriage license on Thursday, and picked up on Friday. The courthouse is closed on weekends.
Most of the locations that we like to use provide us an automatic approval permit. Meaning, you can get married as soon as you get your marriage license. With that said, there are a few locations that might take up to 3 weeks (and an added charge) to approve your permit.
Please scroll to the very bottom of this page to read exactly what they have printed on the county’s website.
